A 83-01

A 83-01은 강력한 ALK 억제제 입니다 (ALK4 IC50 45nM, ALK5 IC50 12nM, ALK7 IC50 7.5nM).

A 83-01은 같은 ALK5 억제제인 SB 431542 보다 더 강력합니다.  A 82-01은 TGFb에 의한 상피세포의 중간엽으로의 전환 (epithelial-to-mesenchymal transfition) 및 Smad 신호전달을 저해하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.

그러나 bone morphogenetic protein type I receptors (골형성 단백질 I형 수용체), p38 MAP kinase, 또는 extracellular regulated kinase에는 거의 또는 전혀 영향을 주지 않습니다. 또한  iPSCs의 분화를 억제하고 시험관 내 세포 자가 재생을 유지하는 데 사용됩니다.
