Dibutyryl-cAMP는 cAMP-dependent protein kinases 및 phosphodiesterase 저해제로써 세포투과되는 활성형의, 내인성 cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP)의 유사체입니다. Dibutyryl-cAMP는 vascullar smooth muscle cell의 세포자멸사를 유도하고, neurite growth를 유도하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
