Recombinant Human Transferrin은 보편적인 철 전달체로써 철 이온을 세포내로 운반합니다. 80kDa 의 transferrin 분자는 제2철 형태로 2개의 철 이온을 운반할 수 있습니다.

BioGems의 Recombinant Human Transferrin은 GMP 시설에서 animal-free 로써 제조되며, 광범위한 세포 유형들의 양과 질을 증가시키는데 사용할 수 있습니다.

Transferrin은 또한 선천성 면역체계와도 관련되어 있는데, transferrin과 철의 결합은 유리 철(free irons)의 수준을 감소시켜, 세균의 생존을 방해하기 때문입니다.

본 제품의 활성은 인간 혈청내의 holo transferrin과 같습니다 (철이 포화상태로 결합된 transferrin, 철이 결합하지 않은 형태는 apo-transferrin).

Storage:	-20°C
Reconsititution:	Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in 1x PBS to a concentration of 5-200 mg/ml depending on cell line of interest. Do not vortex. To sterilize, it can be filtered through a 0.8 μm pre filter followed by a 0.2 μm filter.
